What problem it solves

In DSH Web, slash commands, recent sessions, UI actions, and installed plugin settings live in separate corners of the interface, and clicking between them adds up. dsh-spotlight is a keyboard-first command palette: press ⌘K (macOS) or Ctrl+K to open one palette and search-and-run all of it with deterministic fuzzy matching, arrow-key selection, Enter to run, and Escape to close — without leaving the keyboard.

It does not keep a second command registry: it discovers and triggers the native actions DSH Web already provides, and contributes a single /spotlight command to the native slash menu. The shortcut can be re-recorded from the footer (“Shortcut”) and reset to the platform default (“Reset”), stored locally in the current browser. On unload it removes its event listeners, styles, and DOM nodes cleanly.

Quick start

After installing and starting dsh web:

1. Press ⌘K / Ctrl+K, or type /spotlight in the composer and pick it from the slash menu
2. Type to filter commands and actions
3. Use Arrow Up/Down and Enter, or click a result
4. Click Shortcut in the footer to record a new combination, or Reset to restore the default

Shortcut preferences are local to the current browser origin and profile — nothing is uploaded to a server.
