What problem it solves
dsh-purge Community (package dsh-purge-community) is a DeepSeek Harness add-on that runs on your own machine. The community README groups its work into four areas:
- Host diagnostics: check whether the install, patches, and prompt injection are actually ready, with layered self-checks and anchor-drift diagnosis
- Prompt management: keep prompts, rules, and presets in one place, and exclude injection for selected presets while commands, the panel, and tools stay available
- Local backup and rollback: snapshot before apply, install, or rollback, then restore from the panel or the CLI
- Updates: separate preferences for automatic checks and automatic installs; installing does not restart the app
It is maintained independently at kingcharleslzy-ai/dsh-purge, based on dsh-purge by 小杨 / YuJunZhiXue. Original attribution and the MIT license are kept. This distribution is not an official release from the original author, and it is not a DeepSeek official plugin. It runs locally: it does not change a cloud account or upload prompts or config. Use it on machines you own or are authorized to work on.
Who it is for
- DeepSeek Harness users who want local host diagnostics, patch checks, and prompt management
- Maintainers who want a snapshot before changes and a way to roll back
- People who have confirmed they want the community-maintained package
Install
The community README installs the current release tarball with the official DSH CLI. The profile must match the instance you actually start (web in the command is only for the web profile). Do not substitute the bare package names dsh-purge or dsh-purge-community. If an older dsh-purge or a separate panel is already installed, follow the repository and use its community installer to back up and migrate in place instead of uninstalling first. That installer is maintained by this repository, not by DeepSeek. Host compatibility is documented in the repository README.
